We will be ready for you and your friends to play in our first ever golf scramble! We are raising funds for our NEW community training building that will house a training room, 1-2 offices, and low-cost veterinary clinic.

Who is HALO? HALO is an acronym for Helping Animals Lost and Orphaned. HALO's mission is to reduce the population of owner surrendered animals in shelters by offering other options, such as behavior modification, training tools, pet food, and assistance with medical treatments to those individuals facing financial challenges. What makes HALO stand out is that our founder and Executive Director is 1 of 2 board certified animal behaviorists in Ohio. Notably, there are only 52 in the United States! To have her and our organization in our community is truly a benefit to our dog-loving community.

In January 2018, HALO opened our state-of-the-art Transitional Shelter where our dogs receive behavior modification and training in a comfortable, stress-free environment. Each dog has a 10x10 room with a TV/radio, camera for 24/7 monitoring, daybed, and a daily treatment plan. The shelter has a common area and food prep area with 6-dog rooms that opens to three dog yards. Each day, the dog receives 1-2 hours of walks, up to 4 hours of playgroups/playtime, up to 2 hours of training and behavior modification, and 1-3 hours of socialization.

Golf Fore Paws will help support our mission and to expand our vision of helping dog owners and shelters. With your ticket purchase, receive many amenities by joining us for this fun filled day. You will have a golf cart to carry you around while you play on the beautifully renovated 18-hole Jasper Hills golf course, a goody bag, a beverage ticket, light lunch, dinner, and music. Hey, you might meet some of our adoptable dogs who love to retrieve balls!
